Athira Pharma is a late clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing small molecules to restore neuronal health and slow neurodegeneration. Athira Pharma changed their name to LeonaBio at the beginning of 2026.

I have been working with Athira Pharma since 2019. I was initially hired to design the company logo and develop the core elements that make up their brand. Since then, I have developed branding for clinical trials, built websites, designed environmental graphics, and photographed their labs and team members. I continued to refine and build their brand as they further developed their technology and near commercialization. The projects featured below represent a sampling of the work I produced for Athira — including instructional pieces for patients in their clinical trials.
